  Great city centre venue for casual dining. Ideal for families or groups of friends. The portions are very generous and the chicken wings are great. Clean restaurant and friendly staff.

The staff deserve a medal and are all lovely, very attentive. My review is based on the lack of flavour, incorrectly cooked food or the chefs, but I'm fairly sure the chefs don't do any cooking at all with how fast the rubbery food came out from the microwave.

On Friday the restaurant was packed, but we sat in the bar for a quick drink, and a table was available very quickly. Even though it was so busy, our waitress Tara was excellent - straight over to take away our plates at the perfect time, watching our things as we stepped outside, and generally giving us a really nice time. I'd recommend the place to anyone looking for great food with great service.

Firstly the food was over-priced for the quality and we had to pay extra for sides. Not 1 side was included. The mash was delicious. The chicken was fine but I could do it just as well in my oven. Not special atall. The kids liked the fries. The bread stuffing was terrible-it’s texture was like pellets. I expected bread stuffing to be soft-but maybe it’s their signature! The chicken gravy had a nice flavour but was cold. The curry chips one of the adults had was also cold. Looking around st everyone else’s food it looked delicious ie the burgers, dirty fries etc Maybe chef was having a bad start to the day-it was lunch service. We would not return. I had bigged this place up so much that I was embarrassed.

No apology of any sort , the food is expensive when all the extras which are basics to a dish are added on like chips or coleslaw with your serving of chicken.Also the only toilets were unisex toilets which were filthy and not everyone is comfortable using them so nice to have consideration for all clientele.Overrated and terrible customer service. Avoid if possible.

  Two of us entered the restaurant at 1pm and had only about 40 mins for lunch , it was very busy , as we were about to leave a waiter... read more approached us and said he would look after us , within 10 mins we were served with our order of two Hamburgers and salad.
We were hungery, so we finished what turned out to be deluicious food . We both felt the same , best burger in years !!! For such a busy restaurant to look after the two of us so well and with great laugh , was exceptional . The cheque from lunch was very reasonable . We were on our way in 30 mins !!
Sometimes what you want in a restaurant you just don’t get . This place is just amazing .
I plan to return for an evening meal at a more comfortable pace , I’ll let you know what transpires.

Price is reasonable. We spent €40 feeding two adults and one child so it’s quite average for Cork. It’s a nice setting too and seating was comfortable.
